The Stretch Yourself and Wake Up Exercise

Sit or stand up straight. Take your left wrist with your right hand.
Put your arms out above your head and move your arms to the right. Hold this position for 8 seconds. Count out loud!

Always consult a therapist first, to determine if this low back exercise is good for you. If you don't have a therapist yet, please find one near you by using our therapist map

Very nice! Your upper back will get stretched and your arms as well!

Do this exercise 5x to the left and 5x to the right

Finished again? How about another exercise? You’ll become superflexible!

Watch out:
The exercise should not hurt! Practicing is done for fun and is good for you! Are you having doubts whether the exercise is working for you? Then stop the exercise and talk about it with your parents and/or caretakers.
