The Superman Exercise

Everybody wants to be like Superman. Superman can do this exercise really well.

When you lie flat on your stomach, it’s difficult to move your arms and back. You can raise them however, and that is exactly what we’ll be doing this exercise!

There are 3 types of exercise. First pick your level. You only have to do 1 of these exercises.

The easy version:

Lie flat on your stomach and raise 1 arm up. Keep your arm raised for 2 seconds. Put your arm down and raise 1 leg. Keep it for 2 seconds in the air and put it down. Repeat this exercise 5x and take a little break.

The slightly more difficult version:

Now you raise 1 arm AND 1 leg, hold them for 2 seconds. More difficult, right? Do this exercise 5x and take a break.

The SUPERMAN version:

Try to raise both arms AND both legs from the floor until only your stomach is touching the floor. Tough right?

Do this exercise 5x and take a break.

In total, repeat each version 3x.

So… Are you feeling like Superman? Already finished? Well done!

Already done three exercises? Not yet? Then continue with the next exercise.

Watch out:
Exercising should be fun and it should make you move better. Does it hurt during the exercise or do you feel uncomfortable? Then tell this to your parents / caretakers and stop the exercise.
